Why do you do what you do?
Because I have been doing it for so long…what else will I do? Even though I have been in the business for over 20 years, the industry changes, it brings on new challenges. I enjoy conquering the challenges I encounter. Also, who doesn’t love the weather? I mean it has its own television station.

Ashley Case, Director of Accounting
Ashley Case began her career at CNC in 1997 assisting policyholders with Hurricane Danny claims. Helping people get their life back on track after experiencing a catastrophic event was a challenging and rewarding way to utilize my talents. After working in the CNC Claims Department for six years, I transitioned to HR and Accounting. I realized that adjusters really like being paid correctly and a happy adjuster is a polite and courteous adjuster. I enjoy spending my free time with my daughter, Lily.

I do what I do because I enjoy the camaraderie of the people I work with. I spend long periods of time away from home with the people I work with. They are like my second family.

Why do you do what you do?
My motivation as a claims adjuster is a real desire to help insureds deal with their respective loss. After personally suffering substantial damage to three homes in my lifetime from catastrophic loss (Hurricane Camille in 1969, Frederick in 1979, and Georges in 1998), I have first-hand experience with the financial and emotional hardships involved in living with the realities of personal material loss. I am one of the “lucky” people in the world in that I really love what I do

I have resided in Mobile, AL all of my life. I am married to Mac McLeod. We have 3 children and 1 granddaughter. I graduated from Bishop Toolen High School and attended Livingston University. I retired from the Postal Service in July of 2009 after 28 years of service. I started as a clerk in the Computerized Forwarding Unit and entered management in 1993 as the Mailpiece Design Analyst for the Alabama District.
