CNC Announces Hire of Chief Operating Officer, Yong Gilroy

Mobile, AL — CNC Catastrophe & National Claims is excited to announce that Yong Gilroy has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective July 18, 2022. More recently Gilroy served as COO of Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation.

Gilroy has over 30 years of experience of driving results in the property and casualty insurance industry and served in various leadership roles with Citizens Property Insurance Corporation and Bankers Insurance Group. He has also been on multiple boards, including the Property Insurance Plans Service Office Board, Property and Liability Resource Bureau Advisory Board, and the Specialty Hospital Board of Trustees. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Troy State University and currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of their Risk Management & Insurance School.

As COO at CNC, Gilroy will take primary responsibility for accelerating operational performance and corporate growth strategy, in collaboration with leaders from across the firm. His key departments of focus include the operations of Property Claims, Flood Claims, Quality Control, and Training. Gilroy will also work with CNC associated insurance services companies whose services include inspection and ladder assist, forensic engineering, IT infrastructure, and flood risk analysis.
